30th Annual Radiothon For Duke Children’s
December 10th-11th 2024
What Is Radiothon For Duke Children’s?
The MIX 101.5 Radiothon for Duke Children’s held its first Radiothon in May 1994. 2024 is the 30th Radiothon supporting Duke Children’s!
We are proud to host the second-longest-running Radiothon in the CMN Hospitals Network. Over that time, Radiothon has raised over $20 Million for Duke Children’s!

Why We Love Radiothon
How Has Radiothon Helped?
The funds raised from Radiothon have impacted every area of the hospital. Some projects that have been supported by Radiothon are:
- The creation of a congenital heart defect 3-D model ‘library’ to increase the understanding of these defects for all who care for patients with these anomalies.
- Photo albums for the family of a child who has lost their battle in the Intensive Care Nursery (NICU) – a critical element in helping the family celebrate the love they shared with their child.
- Music therapy and art education as a way to help young patients cope with their diagnosis as well as pass the time while in the hospital.
- The Healthy Lifestyles Program offers a one-year comprehensive medical, dietary, exercise, and behavioral modification treatment program to infants, children, and adolescents.
- Facilitate screening and identifying patients with depression and anxiety.
